My journey started out as a summer job in 1999 as a young 21-year-old with all the strengths, courage and ambition as a young man could have. Working with a local company I began as a labor / helper for 2 years. I quickly obtained my commercial drivels license, as this was a necessary part in our industry. As the years followed, I began building a rapport with clients while working on projects. Soon after I realized that I had stellar communications skills and recognized my potential. This was truly eye opening and was my opportunity to catapult myself into my own business and entrepreneurship. My apprenticeship and training lasted 8 years, this guaranteed my well roundedness in our industry.
In the Winter of 2009 Pavestone Brick Paving Inc. was founded along with my brother/ co- owner Ricky Sette. As they say the rest is history!! Presently with a combined 25 years in the hardscape industry Pavestone is recognized as true pioneers. Our Slogan stays true to this day “Where Honesty and Quality Interlock”
Over my 25-year journey I have learned that taking care of each and every employee is the key to any business and their longevity. All of our employee’s hard work is treated with 3 “Pavestone Appreciation Days” with a Big celebration including, good food, and tight niche comradery!
Pavestone is currently operating 5 installation crews, along with 2 maintenance (power wash and seal coat crews.) My brother along with key management has created not only the hardest workers in the industry but the most qualified craftsmen in the chicagoland area.
I believe my true love for the outdoors is reflective not only to my work in building outdoor living space but also my love for fishing, hiking and coaching youth baseball.
